A more simple system, drain floors have a similar concept to flow-through flood floors. The difference is they’re gravity-driven and have no need for valves. 

Due to their simple layout, rails and trays lie directly on the floor instead of plant pots. Since these rails and trays are easily moved, drain floors can be kept meticulously clean — ideal for growers who may need to show clients around or quickly clean for an inspection.
